Sharp far and close objects in your photo

So you want to take photo where all objects far and close will be sharp ! Not a problem really with any camera that has manual settings . Timer on camera will help a lot as camera should be completely still while taking photo . Tripod is something that will also make things easier, but if you don't have it you can place camera on any steady surface. You will set shutter on slow (in this case 30 seconds) so this will work only on steady objects .So you set your timer ... on my camera Canon EOS30D by pressing "DRIVE-ISO" button and than turning a top wheel until is set to timer shoot . Most of you know this already but I know that some are lazy as I am to read manual. This sample photo is shoot in the night with weak ceiling light and on camera flash so because shutter was on 30" (seconds) it "absorbed" yellowish color from the table . Aperture opening was at 22 ,that was smallest that camera would allow with flash and ISO speed "100". Click on photo to enlarge. Second photo was shoot with auto setting ,on camera flash also fired as on first photo . It does not have yellowish color because shutter speed was fast but only closest object to the lens is really sharp . I did re size both photos with same sharpening and size setting to fit screen . Lens was Canon 35-70mm set on auto focus . Scene in photos is horrible but you get an idea . English is not my mother tongue so I can only hope that you will understand everything .
